Looking to Outsource Email?

Did you know that email messages account for almost 80% of Internet Usage?  This information comes from the Department of Commerce.  In this same study it was predicted that email usage would continue to grow at a rate of 139%.  Now that’s an amazing growth rate.  What does this mean to large corporations?  In my opinion it’s a strong statistic that can’t be taken lightly.

Today I think that most large corporations manage their own email solutions in-house and have a dedicated staff to manage everything.  The most likely candidates for in-house email solutions have typically been Microsoft Exchange solutions but products like Pleth’s Premium Email Solution have been gaining a lot of popularity.  Why is this?  I think that a lot of due diligence has been done that points to an increased savings when companies Outsource email.  According to Gartner Group (gartner.com), 80 percent of enterprises with fewer than 300 users could save money by outsourcing email. This isn’t to say that larger corporations couldn’t still profit from outsourcing their email, we see requests quite frequently from firms with over 1000 accounts.  I think that another drawing point for decision makers when it comes to outsourcing email for decision makers is the predictability of costs related to outsourcing as opposed to the unknowns when it comes to managing email in-house.

Okay, I might be a little biased in saying that I think that our email solution is one of the best solutions on the market but I think that I can honestly say this and for good reason.  Granted, we aren’t a large corporation with a lot of irons in the fire, but the few things we do offer, we tend to go above and beyond when it comes to service.  The Pleth Premium Email Solution offers many of the features that IT Department Heads and Corporate Leaders are looking for such as Mobile Compatability, Intuitive Ajax driven Web Interface, Account Management Console, Microsoft Outlook Compatability, and strong Spam and Virus Filtering.
