Projects: FS Scholarship Fund

Another project that I have been working on for the last few weeks is for the Fayetteville Shale Scholarship Fund.  The FSSF was established in 2006, and is a volunteer organization with members representing companies working in the Fayetteville Shale Play. It aims to enable individuals to pursue educational opportunities that will prepare them for jobs in the Arkansas oil and gas industry by providing financial support through scholarships, raising awareness for careers in the oil and gas industry, and creating good will for the industry and its contributions to local communities and the state.

Through fundraising efforts, the FSSF raised approximately $15,000 in its first year to provide scholarships to students enrolled in the UACCM Petroleum Technology program. In its second year, the FSSF has raised more than $70,000 for scholarships.

One of the biggest requirements for the website was that they needed to be able to incorporate their Golf and Fishing Tournament management software with the website.  The third party software solution they will be using is called Tournakit Pro, I spoke w/ the owner of the company a few weeks back and basically their forms will be embedded within the site that we develop and all registrations will be processed through their third party processors and downloaded into the Tournakit Pro Desktop Software Application that is managed internally at Southwestern Energy.

Presently we are still awaiting content for the project and should have it very soon.  Once we do we will move on into phase two of the project, which is incorporating the Tournament Registrations into the site.

Projects: Second Baptist Malvern

Recently I have had a pretty busy caseload juggling several projects in various stages of completion.  One of those projects is a Ministry Website Solution for Second Baptist Church in Malvern, Arkansas.  We were referred to them by Keith Crawford (his dad is one of the people tasked w/ providing us with content.)

This past week we did a conference call and picked up some great client feedback related to the colors, stylesheet, and fonts, etc.  We have the website at approximately 80% so as soon as we hear back from the client we could launch very soon.  Below you will find a screenshot of the project, since the project hasn’t officially launched yet I can’t provide a link to the URL.
