It's been 9 months now since Spencer came into our lives, it just seems like yesterday that we got a phone call from our attorney asking if we could be in Kansas at 1:30pm that following day for a hearing where we could take custody of of this precious 3 month old baby boy that we had been praying diligently to God about every single day. It takes a pretty special woman to keep me organized and out of trouble, I'll admit that I'm pretty high maintenance at times. We are fortunate in the fact that she doesn't work a 9-5 job, but when you factor in all that goes into keeping this house in order, and add in a dog that has his own set of issues, plus a toddler that has a mind of his own, she has a pretty full plate each and every day! Today there was an article in Arkansas Business stating that my hometown, Helena-West Helena, might not be able to make payroll this week and that some of the elected officials might not get paid. It's that time of year again. Last night Donna and I took Spencer to his first ever Candlelight Service at New Life Church, and I think it's safe to say he had a blast (I sure know we did).
