I was uploading some photos this morning from our trip to visit some friends in Texas and noticed that Picasa had an update available. Picasa 3.5 is a significant upgrade from 3.1 in that it adds name tags. I was just reading a press release today that Google has released Picasa in beta for the Mac OS. I have been a Picasa user for a long time, and love the software. Picasa has finally added an embed option for their photo galleries. I have been big on Picasa for a long time now, and it looks like it is holding it's own in the photo gallery storage competition.
